It's true, there's something about Bill that lends itself to him being good kitty/catboy material. I loved your take on it, with the perfect blend of funny, sweet and melancholy. The Scrabble tiles were an ingenious touch too!

And yes, the tiny balls, the purse, and the hairball had me giggling out loud so my dog was looking at me funny. (I am a cat person, but after my kitty of 17 years died I ended up rescuing a manic mess of a dog, go figure)
